Britney Spears, never lacking attention from the media, the tabloid, the and the internet, is back with her “Circus”. Her last album, “Blackout” was her best album yet, proving that she didn’t need any positive press to sell millions of copies. However, the three singles to emerge from “Blackout” failed to make a significant chart impact. Britney’s “Circus” is prepared to out-comeback her latest comeback, and this time prepared to wow us.

Her album, Circus, has a very similiar vibe to Blackout, but with a more mainstream feel to it. It was everything Blackout should’ve been - you can hear the old-school Britney in some of the songs, and others with a very dirty pop-ish tune. For example, “My Baby” is reminiscent to “Born To Make You Happy” from her Britney album, but slower, and not with as many hard hitting beats and bass.
In total, there were 4 ballads altogether (I’m not a big fan of ballads), but these ballads were AMAZING - after a couple of listens I wished there were a couple more ballads in here. “Unusual You” was pretty ‘unusual’ itself, at the first time playing it sounded to me like she was dying (ouch!) - but it’s my favorite slow track out of the album yet.
There were many catchy and addicting tracks, including “Womanizer”, “Kill The Lights”, “Shattered Glass”, and “If You Seek Amy”. The writer who wrote “If You Seek Amy” was pretty smart - I would’ve never thought of that clever F.U.C.K. me ‘hidden message’ in the song. Hopefully 10 year old girls won’t start chanting this song anywhere?
The songs complimented each other side by side - track by track Britney impressed us yet again. Fans will love it, and haters, well, will continue to bash on Brit but we all know that it’s their guilty pleasure. This album was ‘accidentally’ made according to her, stopping in the recording studio whenever she wanted and trying out some tracks. If THIS was ‘accidental’, I want more ‘accidents’ from her.

I still feel that Blackout is and will be one of her best albums of her career. I’m still loving Circus, though. It’s good to hear some old school Brit, mixed with some of that Blackout feel.

5/5 I think this was a perfect comeback for her and I’m so happy she’s on the right path and actually promoting this in a great way. She did ZERO promoting for Blackout.. too bad because that album was AWESOME. I love the dark side of Blackout and the Urbaness to it.. CIRCUS however is a true pop record.. I think she nailed it.

5/5 i love this record though i haven’t downloaded as i do not want to spoil the pleasure of discovering the album until i buy it. hopefully in Europe it will happen on Friday. I have downloaded three songs If U Seek Amy, Mannequin and Circus and i’m loving Circus I can’t wait for the album to buy it and for the video to Circus.

Firstly if you want to compare Blackout and Circus i will say Blackout is my thing. But then, after analyzing Blackout it’s all about trying to run from the truth and reality. The album is cool though. Now come to Circus. This thing is a story. It tell us a story about her. Try to analyze it and you will believe me. That is the reason why Circus is the best of all. Circus cover everything from Baby One More Time to Blackout in all way from tune, lyrics and style. Best thing ever. Spread the news, Britney Is Back! Better!!!
Circus is pure pleasure. Britney never misses the soul and feel of what she is doing. She’s totally into a piece when she’s On…and she’s always on top of her game. Britney Spears..Superstar:)
